Paul Brasler, LCSW, CAIMHP, has over 30 years of experience working with clients in crisis and living with substance use disorders, including community mental health, private practice, hospital emergency departments, adolescent residential treatment, and juvenile drug court. He is the author of three books, including The Clinician’s Guide to Substance Use Disorders, The Clinician’s Guide to Suicide Management, and High-Risk Clients: Evidence-Based Assessment & Clinical Tools to Recognize and Effectively Respond to Mental Health Crises. Paul is currently coordinator for the Chesterfield County, VA employee behavioral health program through which he and his team provide services to first responders and human services personnel.
