Lidia Zylowska, MD's Profile

Lidia Zylowska, MD Related seminars and products


Lidia Zylowska, MD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and an internationally known expert in adult ADHD and mindfulness. She is an author of an award-winning self-help book The Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD and a treatment manual book Mindfulness for Adult ADHD: A Clinician’s Guide. Her research work pioneered the application of mindfulness-based training in ADHD, developed the Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) for ADHD programs, and helped co-found the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and featured in the New York Times, Time Magazine, Boston Globe, and the ADDitudes Magazine. Dr. Zylowska is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and a faculty member of the University of Minnesota Earl E. Bakken Center for Spirituality and Healing.
