Description

There’s a lot of buzz around ketogenic diets and mental health right now – but it can leave you wondering what’s fact, what’s hype, and whether it belongs in your clinical toolbox?

In this program you’ll join Nicole Laurent, LMHC, a psychotherapist with 18 years of experience providing evidence-based treatments, and uses psychotherapy tools to support individuals using the ketogenic diet as a treatment for mental illness.

In just 2 hours she’ll unpack the growing body of research linking ketogenic interventions with improvements in mood, anxiety, cognition, and even serious psychiatric conditions, like bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Even more importantly, she’ll also answer the biggest ethical questions you have related to this work including:

  • Is this within my scope of practice?
  • How do I ethically support clients exploring this option?
  • And is there really enough science to stand on?
  • What are the risks of inappropriate role expansion and misinformation

Whether you’re curious, skeptical, or ready to integrate nutrition into your work more intentionally, this training will guide you through the ethics, science, and clinical considerations of ketogenic therapy you need to know.

Join us to explore where mental health care may be headed – and how you can be part of an integrative, client-centered future.
