Description
Tools you can use right away …
… without needing to be a certified sex therapist
- The boundaries between sex therapy, coaching, and general counseling
- Weave questions about sexuality and intimacy into your assessments
- Target the “Big Five” most common client sexual struggles
- Proven approaches for sexual anxiety and intimacy enhancement
Sex and sexuality are huge parts of your clients’ lives.
But somewhere along the way pleasure was pathologized. They started viewing their bodies as problems and masking their true sexual desires to fit a “normal” mold.
And the resulting shame, disconnection and dissatisfaction has them trapped in cycles of “sexual brokenness” they feel like they’ll never escape.
But if you’re like most therapists you’ve never learned to work with sex and sexuality …
That’s why we created the 2-Day Sex Therapy Crash Course with Certified Sex Therapists Dana Kirkpatrick and Erica Cavill …
… to give you the skills and tools to assess, educate and work with your clients on intimacy issues, sexual struggles and modern sexual identities.
In Day 1 they’ll cover everything from the foundations of sex, sexuality, pathology vs. pleasure, and how to conduct sexual assessments.
Then in Day 2, Dana and Erica will give you core interventions from Sensate Focus (the “Gold Standard” of sex therapy) to reduce performance anxiety, improve communication, and enhance intimacy …
… and show you how to help clients overcome lifelong scripts of sexual fear, shame and disconnection.
PLUS you’ll learn how to help clients find their “sexual voice” and better work with clients when trauma, hormones, and neurodivergence complicate desire, arousal, and connection.
This training is your chance to meet clients where modern relationships and identities actually are.
